Maureen Mullins Dan Dailey Joe DeGrado I had Mr. Degrado for English my sophomore and junior years. He was one of my favorite instructors -- innovative and with a vivid imagination. From one day to the next, students never knew what to expect in his classroom; only that we would learn in a creative, colorful environment he created. I loved this man! And I loved his class! Always made us think about life and our perspective. It was one of the most memorable classes for me! Mr. DeGrado was the only teacher who ever actually made me think for myself. I was a bit of a party person in my high school days and didn't care much for authority. I not only respected him, but listened to him because he took the time to listen to me. Now that I am an adult who is married to a high school teacher, I can tell you first hand just how important it is to sometimes just "listen". Thanks Mr DeGrado for not just being the cool teacher, but a great listener when sometimes no one else would...
