Bill Hankins has been sorting through hundreds of medium-format negatives and identifying the school year for me. This is making it a lot easier to get some of the older negatives scanned.

Don Davis ('73) has added many notes to images from 1970-71 to 1973-74, and thanks to his help I have relocated quite a few images into the correct collections.

Some of the images that appear on this latest update page are actually older images that have been renamed to better fit the evolving organization of the site. I've been scanning certain images that Dan Kahler mentions in his DVD history of Oak Park to incorporate them into the movie. Check back for updates on this two-disc DVD set.

As I have been organizing the older negatives, I have discovered more images that I had identified incorrectly. Some of these corrected images appear in the latest group, and others will be corrected at a later date. If you browse through the update pages, you'll find some images that are missing because of this. Thanks to those of you who have helped identify the images.

Because of disk space limitations with my markmurtha.com account at Domain Direct, I have moved the Oak Park Image Archive site to a new hosting service. The new domain name is OakParkHistory.com. I have copied all of the site content to the new domain, and will redirect op.markmurtha.com traffic to the new site. Several classes are planning reunions this summer, so be sure to check the Oak Park Message Board and the Oak Park class information pages for the latest information.

If you're browsing through some of the old update pages, you may find that some of the images are missing. As I scan more images, I sometimes find that I have identified the school year of an image incorrectly. At that point, I rename the file and change the numbering of the sequence as necessary. I'm still working on the 4" x 5" film right now, and it appears to be mostly from the 1965-66 through 1970-71 school years.
